Non-Fungible Tokens

What is a NFT?

NFT stands for a Non-Fungible Token. Something that is fungible is able to be replaced by another identical item; Fungible is another word for exchangeable. A token represents what you own. In this instance, by purchasing my art as an NFT it becomes your property. Buying an NFT basically means that a one-of-a-kind digital asset belongs to you and you only.

How do you purchase NFTs?

You will need a couple of things; a wallet and an exchange platform. If you’ve ever sent someone a Venmo you won’t have a problem with any of this, it’s all very simple. You can set up a wallet on platforms like Coinbase wallet or Meta Mask. The most user-friendly exchange would be Coinbase which can be downloaded as an app. After you have the wallet and exchange setup follow this tutorial.
